SmartCure Technology

The TAS SmartCure Series takes flash curing to the next level with thermal temperature sensing technology. A thermal sensor detects the ink temperature and automatically switches the lamps off once the desired curing temperature is reached.

This provides more consistent curing, faster cure times and improved power efficiency, while reducing the risk of scorching or under-curing garments.

Why SmartCure?

Unlike the standard MaxiCure-D, the SmartCure can cure to a set temperature, with the thermal control overriding the timer and switching the lamps off once the target temperature is reached. This allows for faster curing, more efficient power usage and consistent results between colours.

The recommended set temperature for most inks is around 130–140°C, with a maximum set temperature of 180°C. The temperature-control feature is particularly useful when printing hoodies and fleece, helping minimise burning and scorching.
